Period. Mathew Hale: 60:40 Error Trace, 1996, Digital animation Susan Morris: Between Two Deaths, 1998, Video loop 'Period.', a new work by Mathew Hale and Susan Morris, is our second combination piece. It was exhibited at Auto-Italia South East as part of the exhibition Honey Honig, curated by Alexander Hassenßlug. The work was made by bringing together, in the gallery, two pre-existing, discreet, works of art, one by each artist (see titles above), overlapping them, and shuffling or displacing various elements of each on to the other, so that they fuse successfully to form a new hybrid work. This fusing of the two works into one is now permanent, taking the form of ‘Period.' auto-italia south east 1 Glengall Road
